Shannon Brim will take over the reins of Fox News on Sunday

Shannon Brim has been chosen to lead the Fox News Sunday Politics and Public Affairs program that long-honored Chris Wallace, making her the first reporter to host the program in its 26-year history.

Fox News said Thursday that her official tenure on the show begins on September 11. Prem will continue to serve as the network’s chief legal correspondent. The rotation of journalists will host Bream’s current midnight-focused “Fox News @ Night” programme, until a permanent replacement is appointed.

“I have been honored to cover major news across Washington for the past 15 years at Fox News,” Brimm said, in a prepared statement. “I am so grateful to have the opportunity to host a show on Sunday and look forward to this new role.”
