Hideo Kojima, Norman Reedus, Guillermo del Toro, and many others celebrate (or perhaps mourn) their anniversary PTaka, demo of silent hills. If you are not familiar with the game, PT It was a free horror game that was released out of the blue on PlayStation 4 in 2014. It came from an unknown studio and featured incredibly mysterious puzzles in a house that seemed warm and inviting. When the player solves some puzzles, the house becomes more disturbing and ghosts will start targeting them. If the player can figure everything out by the end, he will be greeted with a scene of the unseen and unnamed hero leaving the house and walking to an empty town. That’s when it was revealed that the protagonist is played by Norman Reedus and it was all a teaser for Hideo Kojima’s new Silent Hill game. Unfortunately, the project was canceled shortly before Kojima left Konami.
It’s one of the games’ big losses as Kojima is highly respected as a developer, but he’s also recruited horror mastermind Guillermo del Toro to help with the project along with other legends. Everything about the project was very exciting and it was probably one of the scariest games of all time, but unfortunately we were robbed of this. For years, fans have been hoping they could make a comeback, but that seems unlikely. Rumors suggest that other developers are working on new Silent Hill games, but it’s unlikely that Kojima will be involved.

However, Hideo Kojima celebrated the eighth anniversary of PT On Twitter along with a number of other people. Reedus too He retweeted Kojima’s Instagram post on his profile. Fans were happy to see Kojima admitting to the game as it seems to have been a sore topic for him and one he’s been dancing around with since its cancellation. It probably won’t mean much, but it’s still nice to see Hideo Kojima hail something that so many people love and appreciate.

one of the greats
My favorite horror game of all time. I can only hope my games achieve something like a PT’s sense of claustrophobia, mystery, and dread. https://t.co/ClhK4pBmEo
