Is it over because of the Skywalker saga? Recently, it seems that Lucasfilm has begun to make an effort to launch a new era within Star Wars Timeline It doesn’t quite depend on the story (and the family) that started it all. With that in mind, we have to wonder if fan favorites from this period of the franchise, like Oscar Isaac’s Poe Dameron, will ever be explored. In the past, the actor wasn’t interested in the prospect of a comeback, but let’s talk about the latest thoughts he shared when asked about playing the pilot again.
After wrapping up the role of Poe Dameron in 2019 Star Wars: The Rise of SkywalkerOscar Isaacs said he was more inclined to make “manual” films than standing in front of a blue screen for major franchises such as star Wars. He joked (?) that he would go back to Damron if he needed another home. This is what he says now:
I don’t know. I am open to anything. You never know. I don’t have a real feeling one way or the other. I am open to any good story. Time is the only thing that gets hard… as you get older and kids and all that. where do you do [movies] Suits? If there is a great story and a great director and [Lucasfilm president] Kathy [Kennedy] He came up to me and was like, “I have this great idea,” and then I’m very open to it.
Oscar Isaac keeps his options open, according to his words SiriusXM. Oscar Isaac is 43 years old and has two sons, 5-year-old Eugene and 2-year-old Mads. When he started working on the sci-fi franchise in 2014, the actor had not yet married and was not a father. He may have different priorities these days and be more picky about which projects he decides to sign.
I can definitely see Lucasfilm exploring Poe Dameron’s future with a character-focused Disney+ series or even a solo movie. But on the other hand, the actor and crew star Wars The sequel trilogy dealt with a lot of unexpected changes in creative direction etc. Isaac opened earlier about “Disney Emperors” to Not willing to bring the relationship of Po and Fen To check it out after being “paid” for it as well as a lot of fan excitement to become canon. Since wrapping up his career as Poe, Oscar Isaac has been part of some big projects like Dunewhich has Star Wars roots and Marvel’s moon knightwhich could lead to it being one of the New MCU heroes to join the next Avengers Movies.
