Mark Guggenheim signed with CAA for acting, diverse I learned exclusively.
The Guggenheim is still represented by attorney Wendy Kirk at Johnson Shapiro Slewett & Kole LLP as well as by Director Cliff Roberts at Syndicate Entertainment.
Guggenheim is perhaps best known for his work on The CW’s so-called Arrowverse – the group of shows based on DC Comics characters. He co-created the first of these shows, “Arrow” with Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg. The show eventually aired for eight seasons and 170 episodes. Guggenheim, Berlante, and Kreisberg, along with Phil Klemmer, went on to create the DC show “Legends of Tomorrow,” which ran for seven seasons and 110 episodes. He also developed the DC animated series “Vixen” and worked as a writer and executive producer on Supergirl.
In addition to his work on the Arrowverse, Guggenheim and Berlanti co-created the ABC series “Eli Stone”. His other TV credits include “Law & Order”, “CSI: Miami” and “Carnival Row”. He has also worked on the Netflix animated series “Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia” and the sequels “3Below: Tales of Arcadia” and “Wizards: Tales of Arcadia”. In the film, Guggenheim wrote “Green Lantern” in 2011 and “Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters” in 2013.
He has also written for major comic book publishers on titles like “The Flash,” “X-Men,” and “Amazing Spider-Man,” as well as video games like “Call of Duty 3..” He is currently writing Star Wars: Han Solo and Chewbacca and Star Wars: Yoda for Marvel Comics. His movie adaptation of “Prophet” is in development starring Jake Gyllenhaal, with Sam Hargrave attached to direct.
