Yugi’s voice explains the magic of the hero’s key

Jujutsu Kisen It has become one of the most prominent action franchises to come out of Shueisha in recent years, and the voice star behind Yuji Itadori has explained the main hero’s charm compared to other heroes! Gege Akutami’s original manga series was already a huge hit for Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump on its own, but the series became a hugely successful franchise thanks to the debut of the TV anime and feature film adaptation. Many of the reasons for her success include the central hero in it all, Yuji, where he stands out from the rest of the group.

Yuji has become an iconic Shonen Jump hero through the manga and anime, and much of that love is due to Yuji’s confident and kind nature even in the midst of all the dark chaos around him. Talking to Megan Peters of ComicBook.com during Crunchyroll About Jujutsu KisenAnime, the voice star behind Yuji Itadori, Adam MacArthur, explained that much of Yuji’s charm as a hero comes from the fact that he is ultimately naive about the many developments around him. Making him more relatable as a result, it’s hard to argue with this as part of Yuji’s charm.

“[H]MacArthur started out as a kind of “golden retriever.” I really think there’s something magical about that. His whole motive for doing things is to make sure his friends are okay and to protect the people around him. I guess he’s not doing it for himself or doing it to be the strongest person in the room. He’s trying to help others and doing it somehow in a stupid, naive way, and figure it out as it goes which I also think is charming. And somehow, Yuji could be part of the crowd, right? He’s just an ordinary guy even though he has these crazy athletic abilities.”

As one might expect, McArthur has a deeper understanding of his character and this interpretation of Yuji also highlights why he’s such a great hero. He’s been pushed into this world, and as he makes an active decision to make an impact, much of everything around him is beyond his control. It’s like those reading along are waiting to see what’s next, so what do you think about Adam MacArthur’s take on Yuji? do you agree? Let us know all your thoughts on this topic in the comments!
