Obaseki is still my best friend and brother, our relationship goes beyond politics – Oshiomole #Obaseki #Remains #Close #Friend #amp #Brother #Relationship #Politics #Oshiomole 50 Minutes S BlogHere is the latest breaking news and trending broadcast that we bring to you today:

The former Governor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomol, appears to have given way to public perception of the strained relationship between himself and his successor, Governor Godwin Obaseki.

The two political leaders in Edo State dominated the public debate about a year ago when Obaski moved to seek re-election for a second term.

Oshiomol took his stand against the second Obaseki state and vowed to bring him down politically in the state. The ongoing crisis that led to serious schism, schism, and anti-party activities in the state branch of the GPC eventually cost the party winning the state.

Obaseki defected to the People’s Democratic Party where he eventually chose the governor’s ticket, running in the election and defeating Reverend Osaji Ise Ianmo, the GPC candidate who is also the nominee of Adams Oshiomol.

Since winning the election and continuing the governor for his second term, not many politicians have heard of Edo State.

However, in an interview with Punch Online Newspaper on Friday, the former national president of the Progressive Congress revealed some things that it seemed Nigerians didn’t know all this time.

Oshiomole revealed that Governor Obaseki is still his best friend and brother. He pointed out that their relationship is outside politics.

He said, “As for me, I have advanced. Obaski is still my brother and friend. I had the honor of working with him and God used me in his boundless power to ensure that he became the ruler of Edo State.”

“Sometimes, God wants us to know that He is the only one who knows everything. He is the only one who knows the beginning and the end. When, as human beings, everything seems to add up, we celebrate our intelligence. But sometimes, God intervenes just to know that we don’t know everything, and he means Its a reminder of our limited knowledge of life. He’s still my brother and friend.

When I was a ruler and worked under my supervision, my relationship with him was not that of a superior and a subordinate. He was one of the few who called me by my nickname. When we traveled together on foreign trips, we did not book different suites in a hotel. Instead, we shared the same suite in a hotel but slept in separate rooms. That’s how close we are.”
