In a statement to NBC, Tate described himself as a “successful coach” with a very thoughtful “online personality.” For claiming to be a misogynist, he has stated that he has made “many videos praising women,” and claimed that his videos teach men to “avoid toxic people as a whole,” not just women. This includes all “low-value people”, including “toxic men”.
Tate added, “It has nothing to do with misogyny, it’s simply about good people and bad guys. My mother is my hero.”
