Shia LaBeouf on abuse allegations: ‘If you wanted to, ‘hurt that woman’

Shia LaBeouf opens up about allegations of abuse that has marred his career.

In Jon Berthal’s ‘Real Ones’ podcast, LaBeouf addresses the disturbing accusations of sexual battery, physical and verbal assault made against him by FKA Twigs in 2020 lawsuit. LaBeouf dated FKA Twigs for about a year after they met on the set of his 2019 movie “Honey Boy” with allegations ranging from violent attacks to strangulation, FKA Twigs accused LaBeouf of intentionally infecting her with an STD, shooting stray dogs with a pistol to get On a character in his movie “The Tax Collector”.

“I hurt that woman,” LaBeouf said, though he didn’t call her by name on the podcast. “And in doing so, I hurt many other people, and many other people before that woman. I was a pleasure-seeking human being, selfish, selfish, dishonest, unconsidered, and fearful.”

The actor added, “When I think about what my life has become, what it is now, like what my goal is now… I need to be helpful. And when I look at this #MeToo environment, there aren’t many men who take responsibility.”

“I had bad sex,” LaBeouf admitted. “Like the crash and burn kind of shit. [I] It hurt a lot of people, and I’m well aware of that. And I will owe it for the rest of my life.”

On Friday, LaBeouf denied that he was fired from “Don’t Worry Baby,” stressing that he chose to leave production because he didn’t feel the actors got enough time to rehearse.
