Ozzy Osbourne returning to the UK from the US

After more than two decades in Los Angeles, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne are back in the UK, where gun crime in the US is the main cause.

“Everything is ridiculous in there. I am sick of people being killed every day. God knows how many people have been injured in school shootings. And there was a mass shooting in Vegas at that party… It’s crazy,” Osborne In an interview with The Observer.

“And I don’t want to die in America. I don’t want to be buried in the damned woodland garden,” Osborne added. “I’m English. I want to go back but saying that, if my wife says we have to go and live in Timbuktu, then I will….But, no, it’s time to go home.”

The Osbournes mansion in Hancock Park is on the market for $18 million and they plan to return to a 350-acre property in Buckinghamshire, UK

73-year-old Ozzy Osborne had a comeback of sorts earlier this month when he made a surprise appearance at the closing ceremony of the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, despite his careless health.

Osborne and his band Black Sabbath, which includes Tony Iommi on guitar, Adam Wakeman on bass, and Tommy Clovitus on drums, performed their eponymous song “Paranoid” in front of a crowd of 30,000 spectators at Alexander Stadium in Birmingham.

It was Osborne’s first time performing since November 2020 when he appeared on stage in Germany. He was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2019 and in June of this year he underwent major surgery.

Osborne told The Observer that a studio is being built on his Buckinghamshire manor, and an album with Iommi is likely.

“I’ll give her the best chance possible to do another tour. You haven’t seen the end of Ozzy Osbourne, I promise. If I have to go up there and die on the first song, I’ll be back the next day,” Osbourne said.

“Patient No. 9,” Osborne’s eleventh solo album, featuring Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, and the late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins, releases September 9.
