PREMIERE
“The English” is set to welcome the premiere of “The English” on the red carpet in Cannes in October during Mipcom.
Emily Blunt, Chask Spencer, and writer/director Hugo Blake are scheduled to attend the October 16 premiere of the high-octane western, which will open the festival.
Mipcom operates from October 17-20.
The six-part series is scheduled to air in November on BBC Two and iPlayer in the UK and on Prime Video in the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand
Drama Republic, a Median company, and Eight Rooks produce the show in association with All3Media, who distribute the series.

Dancing With The Stars comes to Latvia and returns to Estonia after BBC Studios upped its deal with All Media Baltics.
13 episodes of the Latvian version and 8 episodes of the Estonian version are scheduled to air this fall on TV3. Latvia is the world’s 61st Territory for Harmonization Licensing. The hit show has previously been broadcast in Lithuania, Croatia, Slovenia and Serbia. He will also return to India this fall on COLORS after a five-year hiatus in the country.
Camila Podzilo, director of sales at BBC Studios, brokered the Baltic deal.
