The political pressure group, Deltans Life Matters, on Monday reprimanded Rivers Governor Nisom Wake for calling for the removal of Senator Urasia Ayew from the position of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) national chairperson as one of his conditions for his resignation. Of his grievances after losing the presidential primaries to Haji Atiku Abu Bakr.
In a statement issued by its Global Coordinator, Musa Abh, the group asked the party to move forward and not allow Wike or anyone to be a distraction in the run-up to the 2023 general election.

This was announced by the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Issa Bantami, during the inaugural meeting of the Presidential Committee on Tax Fees for the Digital Economy Sector.

The arrested Deputy Commissioner of Police, Aba Kyari, said on Monday that the allegations of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, linking him to the ownership of 14 assets, including a shopping mall, residential property, polo stadium, land and farmland, are untrue.
Kyari, a former commander of the intelligence response team, said in a statement to his lawyer, Hamza Dan Tani, that the reports were coordinated by the NDLEA to further tarnish his image.
