Ninja reveals that he will no longer be broadcasting exclusively on Twitch

Ninja confirmed that he no longer has an exclusive streaming contract, which means he can stream wherever he wants from now on. Ninja is one of the most prominent creators out there, setting Twitch records with massive streams. His biggest broadcast watched him play fortnite With a rapper like Drake, something was unheard of at the time and still hasn’t happened to this day. Ninja has had a fairly flowy career. He made a name for himself on Twitch, but Microsoft handed him a big bag of cash to come up on the platform, Mixer. The Microsoft-owned platform collapsed before Ninja’s contract expired, allowing him to return to Twitch, but he appears to be leaving Twitch again…sort of.

Recently, Ninja raised a lot of eyebrows when he abruptly ended his broadcast and said that he does not know when he will live again or where the broadcast will take place next. After that, Ninja lost verification of his partner on Twitch, leaving many to speculate that YouTube offered him a new deal. YouTube has been gobbling up Twitch’s top streaming players with huge contracts and Ninja seemed like a logical deal, but it turns out it’s not really for sale. Ninja has not renewed its partnership with Twitch as it will stream to all platforms. He doesn’t have any exclusive deal and will be multi-streaming on Twitch, YouTube and more, and he even joked that he might stream on OnlyFans.

These exclusive deals usually provide a huge amount of cash to the subscriber in addition to everything they give in donations and subscriptions, but it seems that it will depend on their community in the future. It’s unclear what the benefits of multicasting would be for someone like Ninja. This could open him up to a larger audience not on Twitch or YouTube, helping him nurture a larger and more expansive community in the process. As of now, it remains to be seen how successful it will be.
