You can now share YouTube Music to your Instagram Stories

If you have been eager to share your YouTube Music songs and playlists with the people who follow you on Instagram, it’s finally your time, as the feature is now rolling out to users with the latest update of YouTube Music for Android.

Previously, YouTube Music updated its apps to allow users to share music on Snapchat. Now, after several months, users who have downloaded the latest YouTube Music update, version 5.23.50, will be able to share music with people on Instagram. according to 9to5GoogleNow, the ability to share songs to Instagram Stories is slowly rolling out. Although there was previous code for this feature, its use often resulted in the app crashing, leaving many users undoubtedly frustrated. Fortunately, this button is now fully functional, allowing users to share songs, playlists, album pages, and more.

By manipulating the share icon, users will now see the option to share music on Instagram, by clicking on this, users will be launched into Instagram Stories. In Instagram Stories, you’ll see the cover photo of the music you’re trying to share. The art looks clean with a small logo attached underneath that shows which music service it is being shared through. Once you share your music on Instagram, users will be able to play the music by pressing the link in the top left corner.

YouTube Music has made several updates to its platform over the past few months. The latest update brought support for Android 13. The improved user interface introduced larger media buttons, along with a themed look that matches the album cover art. The app has also provided better support for Android tablets and also offers seasonal music summaries so that you can enjoy the best music of every season.
