10 most interesting weapons in games

Killing enemies to hit a target is a staple of most games. There are many ways in which games allow players to do this. They can shoot enemies with bullets, slice them with a variety of blades, or do something as basic as jump over them. Whatever the case, weapons are usually used.

Weapons can, quite often, take ordinary forms such as a simple sword or a pistol. This list will take those plain old boring guns out of the equation and provide players with some of the best weapons out there in games.

10 76- Masoud

The Gauss rifle in Fallout 76 is a very aesthetically pleasing weapon that players can use. It can be greatly modified to make it more robust as well as change its appearance. The usual rusty look of the pistol is rather nice, but when Presidential paint is added to it, the gun looks cooler.

The weapon is so powerful that it can eliminate the super-mutants in the game with two shots. It should be one of the best sniper weapons, but it needs to be fully charged to do as much damage as possible.

9 Plasma cutter – dead space

If the player is asked to think of a gun from Dead Space, they usually think of the Plasma Cutter. This is the number one weapon in the Dead Space series, but it packs a nice punch throughout the game and doesn’t stop being fun to use. It has horizontal and vertical shooting mode to be accurate in cutting enemy body parts.

Originally a mining tool turned weapon, the backstory is an interesting take on the gun because it never seems to be out of place.

8 Jerry – MultiVersus

Jerry in MultiVersus is a weapon for Tom and Jerry. These are two different personalities that act as one. What makes this character set that players don’t see in a lot of other fighting games is that Tom is trying to kill Jerry in any way possible. Through this, Tom is able to damage other enemies.

He will attach Jerry to a missile, toss tennis balls towards him, and even fling him at a slingshot to damage their opponent. It’s fun to see all the different interactions these characters have with each other as Jerry wanders around doing damage.

7 Lord of the Sword – The Legend of Zelda Series

The Master Sword in The Legend of Zelda series has to be one of the most popular weapons in gaming. Getting to a Master Sword is usually a challenge. One of the most frustrating cases in this matter – but also the most rewarding – takes place in the Twilight Princess where players have to solve one of the toughest puzzles in the Zelda series before obtaining the sword.

The power of the sword can be felt once players start swinging it. It’s an essential piece of Link gear that hasn’t been modified much in terms of how it operates and its power over the years.

6 Chingun – Death: Eternal

The Chaingun in Doom: Eternal has some cool mods that make its aesthetic change drastically. Modification of the movable turret makes it transform into a small gripable turret which can quickly take down large enemies but consumes a lot of ammo when used.

The transformation of the small rocket made makes the gun change slightly but it takes two sections with small rockets. This transformation isn’t as great to stare at as the other one, but it does an enormous amount of damage to enemies in its path.

5 Pixelizer – Ratchet & Clank Remaking

The Pixelizer, which appears in Ratchet & Clank Remake and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, works like a staple gun. What makes this weapon so fun to use is that the enemies killed with this gun will turn into pixels. It somehow always manages to be a sight that players will want to see constantly.

The gun is powerful and has some fun upgradable options in each of the games that change its look. It can also be upgraded to increase the rate of fire and ammo replenishment, which is a lot of fun to exploit in the late game.

4 Ray Gun – Call of Duty: World at War and Beyond

Ray Gun was first introduced in the Call of Duty series in Call of Duty: World at War. It was a weapon that could be unlocked in campaign mode as an easter egg in a mission. It is also the first wonder weapon to appear in the zombie mode introduced in World at War.

The weapon is very powerful to use. Everyone who has ever played any of the zombie modes in Call of Duty at one time or another has been saved by getting a lucky draw and picking that weapon from the mystery chest.

3 Moonville Katana – Elden Ring

Moonveil Katana in Elden Ring is the weapon of choice for anyone who loves dexterity and building intelligence. This weapon is really fast and can deal a lot of damage to enemies. It is also not difficult to find because most of the exploration players will pass through the cave hidden in it.

Also, the katana weapon art is really cool as it has a magic animation that shoots a beam of intermittent blue light at the enemies. After using the attack, the player can then quickly move the sword to deal some great damage.

2 FLUDD – Super Mario Sunshine

FLUDD is the primary weapon used in Super Mario Sunshine. Unlike any weapon ever found in any game, this weapon uses water to damage the enemies of the game, which mainly consists of paint. The great thing about FLUDD is its customizability.

FLUDD has a standard hose release option and several options such as its jetpack mode. This mode allows players to use the water inside FLUDD to fly to higher ground or over paint-made enemies to destroy them. Since the game takes place in a tropical environment, FLUDD can be easily regenerated from the surrounding water. She also talks, which is a nice little touch for the game.

1 Ultima Keyblade – Kingdom Hearts 3

The Ultima Keyblade in Kingdom Hearts 3 is a weapon that few players will own. It is the hardest weapon to unlock in the game as players have to go through an extensive list of missions to unlock it. You won’t be able to complete these missions until the game is over or about to finish.

If the player can accomplish the comprehensive list of objectives and unlock the weapon, then it is worth it. The weapon is the most aesthetically pleasing to play with as it has a transformation that makes the player feel like the most powerful Keyblade player around. The weapon deals great damage and attacks summon a wave of other Keyblades. This list is the hardest to come by, but it’s also the most satisfying to use and watch as it tears apart enemies.
