Houston crime: Man killed in drive-by was shot at least 5 times on Braeburn Glen Drive, police say!

Houston, Texas (KTRK) – A drive-by shooting on the southwest side of Houston overnight killed a man and police with very little information.

The shooting took place at Building 9700 of Braeburn Glen Drive at approximately 9:40 p.m. Monday.

Homicide investigators were working to find out who shot the man and why.

HPD said they received a 911 call about the vehicle, and when officers arrived in the area, they found the victim in the middle of the street in critical condition.

He was taken to the district hospital, where he died of his injuries.

Police said the suspect fired several shots at the victim before driving away.

“To my understanding, the victim had at least five gunshot wounds, mostly in the upper body, some in the legs,” Lt. J.P. Hurelica said.

Eyewitnesses told the police that the shooter was a man in a white jeep, but this is the only description that investigators had.

Now, investigators are working to find out who the gunman is.
