I’m almost surprised that he didn’t give the unnamed teen an outside option to end up living with Darlene and Ben, where Becky and Beverly Rose would also live in the house. (a story Helford and the creative team were excited to dig into.) But that probably makes sense. Given that Harris will be staying in the main residence with Dan and Louise, it seems likely that the new baby will move in with Jackie and Neville.
Although this situation can last longer than one night or not is anyone’s guess. Jackie seems like an imperfect roommate as far as embracing peace and avoiding chaos is concerned. And she’ll go through the major change after marriage by switching to Neville herself, so I’ll bet adding another hormone-laden human to the mix would inspire something less than perfect for everyone involved.
For those who prefer to think of older items rather than newer ones, Bruce Helford also revealed that Season 5 will be full of surprises, some of which will refer to Conner’s earlier days. In his words:
every episode [in Season 5] He has a surprise. There are revelations about the past, revelations about the future… honestly it will be one of our best seasons.
This definitely means we’ll see Easter eggs from Roseanne Years, and Helford has already mocked the imminent arrival of an old-school character who will make fans turn the hell upside down. But this obviously won’t be revealed until the actual episode debuts, so let’s take our guessing hats off.
