The 74th Primetime Emmy Awards didn’t disappoint Monday night, as it celebrated what seemed like a year of refreshing, innovative and particularly polarizing television programming.
Some Linchpins networks like “Euphoria” and “Succession” on HBO have hit the heat in recent seasons, each with 25 and 16 nominations, respectively. Others have broken through the Emmys stereotype with surprise victories, like the rookie sitcom on ABC “Abbott Elementary,” one of the network’s few shows to be celebrated at the increasingly audience-dominated award ceremonies.
Other winners include HBO’s White Lotus, which took home the most awards that night, Netflix’s Squid Game, the first non-English language series to compete in the drama category, and Apple TV+’s Ted Lasso, which is home. Winning for Best Comedy. Check out the full list of winners here.
If you don’t have a chance to see all the Emmy nominees and winners celebrated on Monday night, don’t worry: All shows are available to stream on a variety of platforms like Hulu, HBO Max, and Showtime.
