The event, which was organized by the parent company of diverse, aims to connect people and communities by showcasing Los Angeles’ collection of multicultural foods and arts from some of the world’s most talented artists. The festival’s title, LA3C, stands for Los Angeles, the capital of culture and creativity.

In its inaugural year, LA3C is proud of its partnerships with the nonprofit arts organizations Heart of Los Angeles (HOLA) and Film Independent.

HOLA helps young people overcome barriers through integrated programs and personal guidance through their academic, technical, athletics and wellness programs annually, at no cost. For nearly 30 years, Film Independent has pioneered the creative freedom of visual storytelling by providing support to emerging filmmakers from underrepresented communities in film and entertainment.

Other PMC brands will also attend, including Billboard, VIBE, The Hollywood Reporter, Rolling Stone, Deadline, WWD, Sportico, SHE Media, ARTnews and Robb Report.

Juan Mora, an impact investor and nonprofit leader, has been named CEO of LA3C by Jay Pinsky, Chairman and CEO of PMC.

“We believe Los Angeles is a place where people come to pursue their creative passions and a place where talent, diversity and culture thrive,” Mora said in a statement. “Our programs aim to reflect our community and create an inclusive environment in which everyone feels welcome. Jay’s vision and commitment inspire us to positively impact the city of Los Angeles. I plan to leverage the expertise of Penske Media’s iconic brands to create an experience for all who join us.”

“I have always inspired Los Angeles, its residents, its vibrancy, its diversity, and its creativity,” Penske added. “We pride ourselves on building an event with a long-term mission vision. Right now, being together in person means a lot to all of us. Our event will be a place to celebrate and give back to this wonderful city and the people who made it unique.”
