Los Angeles — The MCU first launched the multi-talented Griffin Matthews.
Griffin Matthews plays a recurring role as Luke Jacobson in the popular Disney+ TV series “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.” Best known for his roles in TV shows “The Flight Attendant” as Shane Evans and “Ballers” as Lavar as well as his role as Rafe in “The Mentalist”, the actor, writer and director is now joining the Marvel’s Cinematic Universe.
Matthews, dressed in a Mint Chocolate Chip-approved She-Hulk jumpsuit, couldn’t hold back his excitement when asked how he contained the excitement now that he’s part of the MCU. “You don’t do that, you just scream,” Matthews said on the red carpet. “I didn’t know what was going on. They kept everything very secret. I didn’t get excited until they became so, so let me tell you who you are.”
The actor remains silent about his character. “What I can tell you is that it’s really funny,” explains Matthews. “He and She-Hulk are having a moment. I’m just excited for people to see Luke’s humor.”
Viewers will be fascinated by Luke’s character in Episode 5. “He’s light, Luke wreaking havoc on 5, 5 and beyond…” Matthews said.
