Maya Hawk: Stranger Things has many characters

Maya Hawke and co-star Millie Bobby Brown agree that there are many characters in Stranger Things. Hook, who joined the hit Netflix series in its second season as Robin, was taking a lie detector test for Vanity Fair when asked if fan favorite Eddie Monson (Joseph Quinn) deserved to die at the end of “Stranger Things 4.”

“I don’t think he should have died,” Hook replied, “but I do think the show has a lot of character.”

Brown grabbed headlines before Stranger Things 4 aired on Netflix by telling the press there were so many actors on the show that they could barely take a picture together on the red carpet at this season’s Hollywood premiere.

“We were like 50 people, I was like, ‘You have to start killing people,'” Brown said. “The Duffer Brothers are sensitive Sallies who don’t want to kill anyone. We need to be ‘Game of Thrones.'”

Stranger Things creators Matt and Ross Duffer later defended their decision not to kill the main characters, telling Podcast “Happy Sad Confused”“We explored all the options in the writing room. Just as a whole assumption, if you kill Mike, it’ll be like…this is frustrating…we’re not Game of Thrones. This is Hawkins, it’s not Westeros.”

Hawke said earlier this month that she would be happy if Robin was killed during the show’s fifth and final season.

“Well, it’s the last season, so people are probably going to die,” Hawke said. rolling rock. “I love to die and have my hero moment. I love to die with honor, like any actor. But I love the way the Duffer Brothers love their actors. The reason they write so beautifully for me and everyone else is that they fall in love with their actors and characters, and they don’t want to kill them.” I think that’s a beautiful trait they have, and I don’t wish they would stray from it.”

The first four seasons of “Stranger Things” are now streaming on Netflix.
