Brett Favre scandal: SiriusXM puts its NFL weekly show on hold

A company spokesperson has confirmed that Brett Favre’s weekly NFL show for SiriusXM has been postponed diverse. It’s the latest business deal at risk due to the professional QB’s involvement in a Mississippi welfare fraud case.

A SiriusXM rep declined to comment further. Favre, who retired from the NFL in 2010 after 20 years in the league, began co-hosting SiriusXM in 2018. Favre allegedly conspired with former Mississippi Governor Phil Bryant to divert stray welfare funds toward the construction of a new volleyball court worth more than $5 million at the University of Southern Mississippi. Favre is a college graduate and his daughter played volleyball at school. Favre has not been charged with breaking any laws and has denied any wrongdoing.
