Kanye West teases music produced by James Blake in London

During a short period of making headlines (like most everything he does these days) stopped in London for Fashion Week, Kanye West showed up at a post-show party where he previewed some new songs that he and James Blake had recorded.

in Videos West appeared in good spirits when grabbed by partygoers, taking over the DJ booth and tweaking the equalizers on the turntables while a few seconds of the song started playing. He trimmed the track shortly after those seconds, but played a song a little longer after that (it’s hard to decipher whether it’s the same song or different). Fans quickly made comparisons that the longer track previewed looked like Blake’s 2016 track “always.”

Blake retweeted the videos, adding, “It’s my birthday and [West] He plays tracks We Made I’m Good for Gifting, Thanks.” He later confirmed via Twitter that the track doesn’t include a “sample” of “Always” as some fans assumed. “It doesn’t always taste.” It’s new.” It angered fans even more, revealing that he also produced two more songs with West.

Although there are no details or confirmation as to whether or not these songs will see the light of day, the move underscores West and Blake’s long-standing eagerness to produce recordings together.

Despite the fact that the couple never released music together, West has previously shared his affinity with Blake – calling him his favorite artist during an interview in 2013. Blake is also highly sought after in the rap and hip-hop community, having already worked with titans like Travis Scott and most recently with Freddy Gibbs.
