Teresa Giudice disqualified from Dancing With the Stars after Lynne Goodman vote

The second week of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ was all about Elvis Presley. Each of the 15 pairs performed a different song from King of Rock and Roll on Monday night, hoping for better results than the week of the premiere.

Some of the dancers were masked, as four crew members and professional dancer Danila Karagash tested positive for Covid-19 after the first episode. Band member Alexis Warr steps in to dance with Karagach’s partner, Josef Baena. Both Bina and Pasha Pashkov, who are married to Karagash, wore masks during the performance. Warr only had hours to learn the routine, but she and Baena still managed to get a score of 24 out of 40, one point higher than in the first week.

“For someone who isn’t a trained dancer to go out and perform in front of live TV with someone they’ve never danced with… I killed this @JoeBaenaOfcl,” Karagach chirp Follow the routine. “I’m very proud of you!”

Several stars were in the audience this week, including “Coda” actors Marley Matlin (who competed in Season 6) and Troy Kotsur, and backing Daniel Durant. Sarah Michelle Gellar, cheers and emotional Selma Blair watch; and “The Bachelorette” winner Eric Scheuer, who greeted Gabe and Wendy with kisses after the romantic Venetian waltz for “Can’t Help Falling in Love.” Abby Lee Miller was also in the crowd cheering for Shangela.

Blair, who left the entire room in tears during the week of the premiere, pulled off another epic routine that includes a spinning and splitting wheel. She told co-host Alfonso Ribeiro that she couldn’t feel her leg unless she reached out to touch it. However, this week Jeff and her partner Sasha Farber earned her a score of 28 out of 40, the same points they earned in the first week.

There was a three-way tie at the top of the leaderboard this week, with Charlie D’Amelio, Gabi Wendy and Wayne Brady each with 32 points each, while Cheryl Ladd was at the bottom with 21 points. After the vote, Ladd landed in second place alongside Teresa Giudice, who was also in danger last week. While Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough voted to save Giudice, Carrie Ann Inaba and Lyn Goodman chose to save Ladd. With Goodman being the chief justice, his vote breaks a tie, which means that Goodman is sent home.
