IDW Publishing has officially announced Star Trek: Strange New Worlds – Illyrian Mysterythe first Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Comic book series. The miniseries begins in December and takes place between the first and second seasons of Star Trek: A Strange New World. The four-digit series comes from Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Co-executive producer Kirsten Bayer and veteran Star Trek author Mike Johnson, who have previously collaborated on series including Star Trek: Discovery Adventures in the Thirty-second Century And the Star Trek: Picard – Stargazer. Star Trek: Strange New Worlds – Illyrian Mystery pick up where Star Trek: Strange New WorldsThe end of the first season was discontinued. Starfleet arrested the captain. Ona Chin Riley, USS projectFirst officer, charged with illegal genetic modification. Captain Pike and the rest of the Enterprise crew embark on a new mission, searching for proof of her innocence.
