Dragonflight expansion launches in November

The World of Warcraft: Dragonflight expansion is set to release on November 28, providing a new area to explore, a new class called Dracthyr Evoker, and a new skill-based mode of access movement, Dragonriding.


Blizzard has provided more details about what’s new that will be introduced with Dragonflight’s expansion Blog postIt will be launched on November 28. The exact release time will vary depending on your region, as the World of Warcraft: Dragonflight expansion will launch at 3PM PT on November 28 in the US, followed by the UK at 12AM GMT on November 29.

World of Warcraft: Dragonflight introduces a new area called Dragon Isles, featuring four new areas to explore: The Walking Shores, Onh’ahran Plains, Azure Span, and Thaldraszus, each with its own unique theme that matches aspects of the ancient dragon. However, the most exciting detail in the upcoming expansion is that Dracthyr Evoker, World of Warcraft’s first-ever race and class set, will be permanently added to the game.

Specialized in dealing ranged damage and aiding their allies as a healer, Dracthyr Evoker will be highly mobile, allowing players to switch between human and ruthless forms. Each model has advantages and disadvantages, however, Dracthyr Evoker will provide a new option for players to empower their allies.

A new skill-based method for access movement, called Dragonriding, will also be introduced with the expansion. According to the developer team, players can customize ducks by collecting new appearance options, whereby they can fly wherever they want. Furthermore, it was revealed that a new talent system that allows players to make creative choices with regenerating talent trees will be added to the long-running MMO in November. As mentioned by the development team, the new talent system prevents players from compromising the effectiveness of skills, offering logical choices at every level.

Dragonflight brings eight new dungeons that players can battle against with their friends. Last but not least, the star of the Winds of Wisdom Experience will be back starting October 4th. Blizzard has recommended players not delay as it will not be available after the launch of the Dragonflight expansion on November 28. Players can now pre-purchase World of Warcraft: Dragonflight via Blizzard Store.
