My Hero Academia worries Shigaraki

warning! Massive spoilers for My Hero Academia chapter 368 to follow! My hero academy The final showdown between Izuku Midoriya and Tomura Shigaraki has officially begun, and the latest chapter of the series quipped that there was still some hope left for Izuku to somehow save Shigaraki as he was trying! Since All For One implanted his power within Shigaraki, the villain has changed dramatically from what he was before. While his body became more brutal and powerful as a result, this actually increased Izuku’s desire to save his greatest enemy from himself.

The previous chapter ends with Izuku finally making his way to the battlefield of the UA Floating Academy, and coming face-to-face with Shigaraki, Izuku quickly realizes that he is already fighting with All For One. Here he is asking the villain whether Shigaraki is still there somewhere or not, but All For One tries to throw this aside by saying that the two forces formed in one being. But here Mirio Togata and Nana Shimura provide evidence that the “Tenko Shimura” is still somewhere in the depths of this body.

Chapter 368 of My Hero Academia begins by asking Izuku whether or not Shigaraki is still inside that body, and All For One explains that the two have achieved a “perfect fusion” but notes that because All For One has survived longer, He is the only one under control. The villain thinks that Izuku is planning something by trying to appeal to Shigaraki, then Mirio explains to Izuku that Shigaraki was horrified earlier when he started making accusations. It’s as if Shigaraki resists more the more heroes fight.

Not only are the two still grumbling in their minds, an artist within One For All sees members of the Shimura family formed by Shigaraki’s new body and confirms that somewhere deep within the villain is still within his body. So, while Izuku may not have much hope of physically taking down the villain, there’s a chance that somehow drawing Shigaraki’s heart might create the opening that could win the battle at the end of the day.

It’s the kind of ending Izuku would want for this fight, but do you think “saving” someone like Shigaraki could actually happen? Let us know all your thoughts on this topic in the comments! You can also contact me directly about all the moving stuff and other cool stuff Valdezology on Twitter!
