So, when I was 19, I wasn’t like Laurie Strode. Laurie Strode was part of the acting. You know, you were going to hire me to play Linda. I’m just a little arrogant and I was a little promiscuous but I wasn’t Laurie Strode. What was amazing to me was [it was] acting role. She didn’t look like me, she didn’t dress like me, she didn’t think like me. I barely graduated from high school. She was like the valedictorian in her class. There was a real opportunity for me to be an actor. I have never had this opportunity before. For me, that was incredible.
