My hero academy Season 6 began in explosive style, and the series awarded Denki Kaminari a Special MVP award after a notable skirmish in the latest episode! The series’ fifth season has spent its time showing how heroes and villains are getting stronger in their own way, and it has all been in the service of building a massive war between the two sides. As the Season 6 premiere begins this battle between the massive rosters of both heroes and villains currently at his disposal, some heroes have stood out from others like Denki Kaminari.
The big joke in the first episode was how Kaminari and Fumikage Tokuyami were the only members of Class 1-A to be part of the main charge of the heroes attacking the Super Liberation Front’s base. Kaminari was stressing about the fact that he wasn’t ready for such a fight, didn’t seem to understand why he was important, but it all came to play in the most recent episode and he was awarded a special ‘best player’ from an episode for the occasion as well. Episode 115 of the series generally sees the heroes finally launching their massive attack on the supernatural Liberation Front’s base, and all the while Tokuyami tries to allay Kaminari’s fears about his role in the initial attack on the villains. Tokuyami tells Kaminari that he knows the Electric Hero will succeed when the time comes for him, and after more stimulus from their midnight teacher, Kaminari starts to rush out with the other heroes. But it wasn’t long before he was called to work.
It is revealed that one of the villains has a vast electric vibration like him, and the villain is trying to take out the heroes’ charging wave with his attack. But Kaminari works like a lightning rod and absorbs all that electricity to make way for the heroes to actually make it to the base. It’s a big moment for the young champ in training, and now it looks like the fight can really begin in full.
