WWE Fans Want Beth Phoenix vs Rhea Ripley After Outstanding Extreme Rules I Quit Match

One of the most anticipated matches on the WWE card for Extreme Rules was the I Quit match between Finn Balor and Edge at Judgment Day. The two were definitely delivered in the ring, and the storyline that would play out throughout the match was great and included all kinds of mayhem and twists. What some might not expect is that Edge’s wife and WWE star Beth Phoenix will show up to help him, and this has led to a showdown between Phoenix and Rhea Ripley as fans lose their minds. Their fight was short but got fans talking about an actual singles match, especially after the end, and now everyone wants to watch Phoenix vs Ripley ASAP.

As you can see in the reactions starting on the next slide, fans were all about the Phoenix vs Ripley showdown, which took place after Ripley managed to chain Edge to the top of the rope. This resulted in the entire Doomsday faction coming after him and delivering a defeat, although that was paused thanks to Rey Mysterio’s race to save Edge.

It wasn’t enough to turn the tide, but Edge would get some big help from Phoenix, who stormed the ring and faced Ripley head-on. The fans lost their minds in the arena, and then the starlets caught each other with big hits until Phoenix got the best of Ripley and knocked her out of the ring.

She would then obtain the keys to Ripley’s handcuffs and free her husband, and immediately afterwards it seemed that Edge would win after delivering three spears to Finn Balor. Unfortunately, Ripley was hitting Phoenix cold with a punch in the back of the head, then revealed that she was wearing brass knuckles.

The remainder of Doomsday will set Edge for three Coup de Graces from Balor, but he still wouldn’t say I quit. That’s when Ripley put Phoenix in a chair and threatened to hand a ConChairT to her, and that ultimately led to Edge saying I quit. Unfortunately for him, Ripley did it anyway, and Edge was holding her and calling the medical staff after Judgment Day left the ring.

This looks like a perfect setup for either a mixed Tag Team match featuring Balor, Ripley, Edge and Phoenix, or a singles match between Phoenix and Ripley, and fans are surely hoping that this will be the last. Some say this has the potential to match the year, while others just want to see what these two can do in the ring together. Either way, I’m a subscriber, and you can check out some of the reactions starting on the next slide.
