Earlier this month, Dunkin’ UK unveiled a killer (no pun intended) collection of cakes that honor the classic Halloween monsters we all love. On Wednesday, Dunkin’ US arm finally confirmed its Halloween lineup, which is significantly different from its counterpart across the pond. While there will be Jack-o-Lantern available at Dunkin’ locations in the US, this is where the similarities end.
Effectively immediately, Dunkin’ locations should carry four new items based on a spooky season. In addition to the Dunk-o-Lantern donut, which is a cake filled with buttercream, there’s also the Spider Donut, which is a regular pie topped with orange frosting and a chocolate donut with snow cream to make it look like a spider.
For those who want to try more Halloween drinks, don’t worry – Dunkin’ offers two of these too. The chain is bringing back the Peanut Butter Cup Macchiato for another round; Same with the Blood Orange Dunkin’ Referesher series.
“Through the brand’s revamped loyalty program, Dunkin’ Rewards members can provide the full range of thrills of the scary season with near-magical offers,” the chain said in a press release. From now until October 31, Dunkin’ Rewards members can receive free gifts, including a breakfast sandwich, 10-piece MUNCHKINS® Donut Hole, or Bagel Minis with the purchase of any mid-priced or larger beverage by October 31. Also pre-order on the app on Monday to earn an extra 100 points.”
