Fender gives guitar players around the world a chance to channel their inner rock star with an entirely new line of guitars and bass modeled after the popular musical instruments of the 50s, 60s and 70s. American Vintage II Series guitars are now available for purchase on the Fender website.
The number of new axles is “a 1:1 comparison to their original predecessors,” said Justin Norville, executive vice president of product at Fender, built in Corona, California, adding: “Today they are built with precise, modern manufacturing processes that weren’t available in the past.” .
The new line is backed by Patti Smith, Brothers Osborne, James Bay, Jeff Beck and more of the rockers behind Fender’s campaign.
