The 13th generation Intel processors will arrive along with a new chipset and new motherboards to carry them. The new Z790 motherboards will be available from October 20 as are the CPUs, but the 13th generation will also support older Z690 motherboards that were launched with 12th generation CPUs. You need a 12th generation CPU
