Adrienne Bailon-Houghton Enters NBCUniversal Talent, Development Deal

Adrienne Bailon-Houghton signed a talent and development deal at NBCUniversal.

Through the agreement, Bailon-Houghton will seek to pursue unrecorded opportunities across NBCU’s platforms to serve as host and/or producer across the company’s broadcast, cable and live broadcasts.

Bailon-Houghton debuted as the lead singer for the girl R&B group 3LW, then went on to become a founding member of the pop group The Cheetah Girls and starred in the films “The Cheetah Girls”, “The Cheetah Girls 2” and “The Cheetah Girls: One world.” Other TV and movie credits include “That’s So Raven,” “Raven’s Home,” “All You Have Got,” “Lovestruck,” “Coach Carter,” and “I’m in Love with a Church Girl.” Later in her career, she worked as a co-host of “The Real” from 2013 to 2022, which in 2018 earned her the Emmy hosting for entertainment talk shows.

“We have long been impressed with Adrienne’s talents and have been very impressed with the way she has been able to connect and engage with her audience,” said Tommy Crump, Head of Cast and Talent for NBCUniversal Television and Streaming. “We look forward to aligning her with projects where she can really thrive and show all she has to offer.”

“I’ve had some amazing opportunities throughout my career, and many of my favorite moments have come from taking on the role of host,” Bailon-Houghton says. “From co-hosting ‘The Real’ to whatever the future holds, these are the opportunities I thrive on. I’m thrilled to have the support of the amazing team at NBCU as I continue to develop in my career and I couldn’t be more excited for what’s to come.”
