The second chapter of the game was released a while ago, and it has managed to earn a lot of appreciation from fans and critics alike. Some players may want to try the first game before moving on to the latest version. For them, here is a guide on how to deal with the secret boss in the game.
How to fight Jevil in Deltarune and get all the broken keys
Many players face some issues when defeating a boss in the game. For those not in the know, Jevil is the game’s secret boss. Deltarune has an additional additional trainer for the players out there, and it gives them a good chance of having a tough battle in the game.
To locate Jevil, you have to head to Card Castle. At the bottom of Card Castle, you will find a room titled “???????” Which you have to enter to talk to Gevil. Next, you need to find three different keys to fight Jevil. Here’s how to get each key.
- Broken Key A- The first key can be obtained by talking to the shopkeeper Sean and then ending all dialogues. Once the conversation is over, you will get the key.
- Broken key B- The second key is located in a chest in the forest in the lower right. You need to find a secret path to it, which is located at the bottom right.
- Broken Key C- Key C is located north of the chess field, just before you reach Card Castle. There is a puzzle that you need to solve, and the correct combination of it is Diamond, Heart Club and Spade.
Next, you need to fix all these switches. So head to Bake Sale in the Forest. After talking to Malius the Smith, you will be able to repair the keys. Take the keys to Jevil to fight him.
Jevil’s fight can be a bit tricky and requires some patience. Your goal should be to calm him down. To do this, you have to wait until round 30 and as soon as he gets tired you can calm him down. Alternatively, you can use Pirouette and Hypnosis to calm him down.
