Pokemon Go releases the mysterious Noebat teaser for Halloween

first part of Pokemon GoHalloween is set to start tomorrow, and Niantic has revealed a spooky new trailer ahead of the event. The short teaser shows a trainer being chased by a swarm of noobs in a cornfield at night. The video also shows a piece of notebook paper with a reading time of “5:34 p.m.” At that time, images of a person, a Noibat, and an ear of corn can be seen. Below, 6pm can be seen along with three question marks and three exclamation points. At the bottom of the page we see “10x” next to the prick ball graphic, and “25x” next to a super ball.

The teaser trailer was shared on the game’s official Twitter account and can be found in the tweet embedded below.

Naturally, the new teaser has led to huge speculation from Pokemon fans! Noibat’s advanced Noivern form is hard to come by in the game, as it requires 400 candies. Noibat’s swarm in the trailer makes it look like the Pokemon will be easier to catch sometime this month, which will be a huge relief to many players. It’s safe to assume that this Noibat event will have nothing to do with Community Day, as this month has already seen an event centered around Litwick. It’s possible that the Pokemon will appear during the Spotlight Hour instead, but it’s impossible to say until we get additional details from Niantic. With Halloween just under two weeks away, fans won’t have to wait any longer for more information!

Noibat first appeared in Pokemon X and Y.. The Flying/Dragon type evolves into the powerful Noivern, a Pokemon that has gained quite a few fans since its introduction. In the Pokemon anime, Ash used Noivern when competing in the Kalos League, where he nearly became the champion. Ash Noivern left with Professor Oak after losing it, but the Pokemon appeared several times Pokemon Journeys.
