New Story will release the film in France on December 14, after it airs on Arte.

Annie Erno, a distinguished writer, won the 2022 Nobel Prize for Literature in 2022. diverse: “This documentary is an on-screen expansion of her powerful, global, and politically charged work. The Nobel Prize, a truly well-deserved recognition, pushes the film even further.”

The film encapsulates the images with text written by Annie Erno, which I read as an audio commentary.

Rewatching our eight excellent films, shot between 1972 and 1981, Annie Erno says of the film, “It occurred to me that they not only house a family archive, but are a testament to the amusement, lifestyle, and aspirations of a social class in the decade after 1968.” I wanted to combine these silent images into a story that combines intimacy and social history, to convey the taste and color of those years.”
