He portrayed Dr. Mehmet Oz, cast member Mickey Day, wearing a Phyllis hat and awkwardly talking about eating Philadelphia Cheese and Steak. Day, as Oz referred to his Democratic challenger John Fetterman’s stroke, or “debilitating condition,” as a lucky break before taking a moment to push the trusty diet pills to help dieters lose 30 pounds a day.

Cecily Strong portrayed Carrie Lake, the Republican candidate for governor in Arizona, and thanked Heidi Gardner, who portrays “PBS News Hour” host Judy Woodruff, for welcoming her to her “beautiful little show full of lies.”

Pressed over the disapproval of the 2020 election results, Lake twists the focus of her campaign, explaining why she’s appealing to voters.

“I’m a regular Judy, I’m just a regular town in constant light focus,” she said, adding that she tapped into “panicked old” voters in Arizona, Florida in the West.

“Arizona wants to talk about issues that affect them, like crime in New York, or crime in Detroit, or the more pressing issue of taking up the Queen’s story time,” she said. “Men dress up as bold, loud women, introducing children to the joy of reading? Not on my shift.”

“If the people of Arizona elect me, I will make sure they never have to vote again,” she said.

Herschel Walker, portrayed by Kenan Thompson, said, “Just like the great Trump Donald said, I can pay for an abortion in the middle of Fifth Avenue, and lose no votes.” Walker also said last time that he checked that his son was a “boy.”

The October 29 episode was hosted by musician Jack Harlow, who has double-duty as a musical guest.
