Nexstar Replaces CW Comms President Paul Hewitt Beth Feldman

Nexstar has appointed Beth Feldman as Senior Vice President of Network Communications at The CW, replacing Paul Hewitt, the younger broadcaster’s longtime chief of communications.

Feldman will effectively oversee the program’s internal and external communications and publicity immediately, and will take charge of Hewitt, who left the network after 22 years in the job in the wake of the channel’s acquisition by Nexstar.

In a statement about his exit, Hewitt said, “Over the past 20 years, I’ve been incredibly fortunate to have played a role, albeit a small one, in helping to shape, influence and even define popular culture through the series we’ve created and shared with our passionate fans.” This job has been an absolute gift and I am forever grateful to all my fellow CW family, producers and show talents so many that I have been happy to work alongside and above all, a global PR team who I am proud to say have always been the best among the best in I look forward to jumping headlong into the next chapter of my career, and I wish Dennis, Sean, Beth, and everyone at The CW and Nexstar all the best as they guide this network into its bold and new future.”
