The new RegiStar module in Good Lock allows you to configure the settings menu according to your needs

The unit also allows you to customize the power button to turn on the Google Assistant

After rolling out the new Dropship Good Lock module, which allows you to easily share files with any device, Samsung has now announced another new module for the Personalization suite. The new RegiStar module allows you to customize the settings menu on your Galaxy device and define custom actions for the power button and back taps.

According to a recent post on the Samsung Community Forums (via Sammobile), the RegiStar module is available for Galaxy devices with a single user interface 5. You can download it from the Galaxy Store by following the link below and reorganizing the settings menu on your Galaxy smartphone or tablet. The module allows you to add or remove items from the list and reorganize the order in which the items appear in the list. It even lets you add new shortcuts to the settings menu for quick access.

Moreover, you can use the module to hide your email from the settings menu, switch between your full name or nickname in the list, and customize search results and suggestions for related tags. The RegiStar module also includes options to help you customize Back-Tap actions, which you can use to open the Camera app, take a screenshot, or perform other functions by tapping on the back of your device. In particular, the unit allows you to change the action of pressing and holding the side key (the power button), allowing you to launch Google Assistant instead of Bixby.

Some of the above features are limited to specific devices, so you may not be able to use them on your Galaxy smartphone. You can check out the ad post linked below for compatibility details.

The Good Lock team has confirmed that it plans to introduce two more units soon, but we don’t have any details at the moment. We’ll let you know as soon as the team shares more information.
