LG C2 OLED Lowest Price Ever Is The Black Friday TV Offer I Will Buy

It might sound crazy, but Black Friday deals are already in full swing, and that makes it a great time to grab a killer discount on some great TVs.

And if there’s one deal I’ll buy today, it’s a deal LG C1 55 “OLED for sale $1,296 at Amazon (Opens in a new tab). That’s $500 off the original price of the TV (Amazon UK also has a discounted LG C2). And since it’s Tom’s Guide’s choice of Best OLED TV In 2022, buying it now before selling it doesn’t make sense. Oh, it’s also the lowest price ever; Move quickly on this.

Sadly, I won’t indulge in this TV deal myself, as much as I’d like. That’s because I have a 55-inch LG C1 OLED, which was probably one of the best deals of the Black Friday/Electronic Monday period last year. The LG C2 OLED TV is clearly better than its predecessor, but it doesn’t quite move the needle to ensure the upgrade; Although the greedy show fan in me is looking forward to this big opponent.

But if you haven’t yet upgraded from an LCD to an OLED TV, I might recommend that you seriously consider it. Sure, high-quality OLEDs aren’t too cheap, but moving from an already very good 4K Samsung LCD TV to the LG C1 was a game-changer; Literally because it makes God of War Ragnarök look absolutely amazing.

The true black colors that an OLED panel can provide are transformative for watching movies and TV series, especially if the display has a lot of shadows and flames, like House of the Dragon. The colors on the LG C-series OLED TVs are also excellent – I particularly liked the C2 – which perform well in motion like sand dunes in 2021 where the sandy lands of Arrakis are suddenly punctuated by flashes of gunfire or energy weapons.

And like the C1, the LG C2 comes with a host of gaming features, including a dedicated low latency mode, support for 120Hz refresh rates and VRR (variable refresh rates), making it an ideal partner for the PS5 and Xbox series. X.

In short, this is one of those TVs at a very attractive price and I don’t think it will get much cheaper since it is a 2022 model. So I would suggest jumping on this sooner rather than later and then sit back and enjoy the glory of a 55 inch OLED TV that is packed with the latest technology.

But if you’re still not convinced, take a look at our Black Friday live blog, because I’m sure you’ll find a discount or three that will make you fantasize.
