Taylor Swift fans Crash Ticketmaster for Eras Tour Presale

A rush of fans flocking to Ticketmaster to try to get pre-sale tickets for Taylor Swift’s upcoming 2023 “Eras Tour” in the US left thousands unable to access the site Tuesday morning.

“We understand that fans may be experiencing intermittent issues with the site and are urgently working to resolve them,” Ticketmaster customer support Twitter account Spread It’s 10:54 a.m. ET Tuesday.

According to uptime monitoring website Downdetector, user complaints of issues accessing Ticketmaster began to spike around 9:30 AM ET, peaking at nearly 5,000 reports around 11:36 AM ET. Reports of technical problems with Ticketmaster began to taper off around 12:20 PM ET.

Swift, who just launched, has scheduled 52 dates for her US Eras Tour. This makes it her biggest tour to date, and could break her own record for total ticket sales in North America. Openers on the American leg of the tour are Paramore, Haim, Phoebe Bridgers, Beabadoobee, Girl in Red, Muna, Gayle, Gracie Abrams, and Owenn.

Tickets for Swift’s Eras Tour have been priced from $49 to $449, with VIP packages starting at $199 and going up to $899.
