Try the guys signed a video distribution deal with Jellysmack

The Try Guys are looking to grow their audience outside of YouTube via a multi-year deal with Jellysmack, a company that improves video content distribution on platforms like Facebook and Snapchat.

Additionally, Jellysmack has secured multi-year agreements with Kris Collins (@Kallmekris), who has over 47 million followers on TikTok, making her one of the top 20 most followed creators on the platform; vlogger and gamer Guava Juice, who has 16.9 million subscribers on YouTube and has produced an animated series for YouTube Originals, and Manny Mua, a leading YouTube beauty maker and entrepreneur.

The Try Guys, which have 8 million YouTube subscribers, have regrouped since founding member Ned Fulmer was ousted by the comedy troupe in September after he admitted to having an extramarital affair in the workplace. The three remaining Try Guys—Zach Kornfeld, Keith Habersberger, and Eugene Lee Yang—said they would delete Fulmer from upcoming videos, while saying some of them “couldn’t be released” due to his involvement.

The Try Guys and other recently signed creators join Jellysmack’s existing roster, which includes MrBeast, MrBallen, and PewDiePie. The Los Angeles-based company says its AI-enabled platform provides tools and analytics to help creators enhance content production and distribution across multiple platforms, including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest and TikTok.

So far in 2022, Jellysmack has signed over 100 new creators worldwide including Nick DiGiovanni, season 10 finalist “MasterChef” and food creator. Luisito Comunica, Mexico’s most followed YouTuber with 39.5 million subscribers; and Junya, Japan’s most-followed TikTok and YouTube maker.

The company has also reached a milestone on Snapchat, now launching more than 50 new Snapchat Discover programs in 2022 for creators including Infinite Beauty creator and true criminal Billy Sarrian. The company said that Jellysmack-managed Snapchat channels now average 59 million unique viewers per month globally that have been unduplicated across more than 130 shows.

Since starting the video distribution program in 2019, Jellysmack has paid out more than $175 million to Creators, gained 445 million Creator Partner subscribers, and now manages content that receives more than 10 billion global monthly views.

Jellysmack is the third largest company by unique cross-platform digital video viewers in the US per month, according to Tubular Labs, behind only Disney and Paramount Global. More than 50% of Jellysmack creators generate more than $500,000 in total annual revenue, according to the company.
