Lenovo Tab Extreme appears early on the Google Play console

The listing reveals its design and some hardware specifications

After the success of the Tab P12 Pro, it seems that Lenovo is preparing to launch a new Android tablet. While the company has yet to make an official announcement, a new tablet codenamed “Lenovo Tab Extreme” has appeared early on the Google Play Console.

The Play Console listing for the Lenovo Tab Extreme (model number TB570FU) includes an image showing the tablet and revealing some specifications. The image confirms that it will have a large display with symmetrical edges, a selfie shooter hidden inside the upper bezel, a volume rocker on the top edge, and a power button on the left edge. Unfortunately, the listing doesn’t include images that show the tablet’s back panel, so we don’t have any details on its design and rear camera setup.

According to the Play Console listing, the Lenovo Tab Extreme will feature a 3000 x 1876 display, MediaTek MT8798Z SoC (AKA MediaTek Dimensity 9000) with two Arm Cortex-X2 cores clocked at 3050MHz, three Arm Cortex-A710 cores clocked at 2850MHz, four Arm Cortex cores -A510 clocked at 1800MHz, Arm Mali G710 GPU.

The listing also adds that the Lenovo Tab Extreme will have 8GB of RAM and run Android 13 out of the box. If so, it could be the first Android tablet running Android 13 if it lands before Google’s upcoming Pixel Tablet. Unfortunately, we don’t have any information from Lenovo regarding its launch, so we can’t say for sure if it will arrive before the Pixel Tablet. But since it has already arrived at the Google Play Console, it’s safe to assume that Lenovo could announce it in the coming weeks.

What do you think of the Lenovo Tab Extreme based on the above specifications? Would you buy a Dimensity 9000 Android tablet on one that features the flagship Snapdragon SoC? Let us know in the comments section below.
