warning! The following contains spoilers for Walker: Independence The first season, the fall of the first season, is titled “The Owl and the Arrow”. Read at your own risk!
Walker: Independence He didn’t come out with guns blazing in his final fall, but a murder trial and several developments keep things tense in this latest episode. Fans certainly have a lot to think about as they wait for the CW series to return on January 5, and it’s likely that it will reveal exactly what’s going on in this futuristic railroad town.
This series began as Abby WalkerHer quest for revenge is on the man who killed her husband, but there’s clearly more to it than we know so far. After the end of fall, here are my biggest questions that I want answered by the end of season one.
How will Abby deal with Tom?
Abby entered Tom Davidsonon the spy desk, but what I found was more shocking than any document or tearful letter I had ever read Since taking this job. Tom was on the ground with blood oozing from his mouth and stomach, and he looked very terrifying. Tom begged Abby for help, and the scene ended with the heroine apparently contemplating what she should do.
If there is a chance to get revenge on Tom for killing Abe’s husband Husam, that’s it. Abby could get up and pretend she saw nothing, and no one would ever know how or why the sheriff died. We have already indicatedHowever, Tom doesn’t seem like such a terrible person that he would kill anyone. This was further cemented by his sparing KalyanHis life is in the last episode, before he even has the evidence to properly exonerate him.
I think Abby might save Tom on those reasons alone, even if she still believes he killed Liam. Plus, she was always ready to arrest Tom, and murder isn’t really her thing.
Who stabbed Tom and why wouldn’t he do anything about it?
Tom Davidson was stabbed in the previous episode, but until the final moments of this latest episode, no one knew. Isn’t it strange that Tom, who is not only a warden but also comes from a very rich and powerful family, is not looking for the person who stabbed him?
There’s clearly more to the story there, and I have a suspicion that all of this can relate to it Walker: IndependenceThe story of Liam’s murder. The only person I suppose has answers is Tom, and he doesn’t currently seem to be in a position to provide any.
Will Kalyan return to independence?
After being brought to trial, found guilty, and rescued at the eleventh hour before his scheduled execution, Kalyan decides to cut his losses and become a… The last person to leave independence. Abby didn’t blame Kalyan for wanting to move on, though it would have hurt to see the departure of one of her core group committed to bringing Tom down.
Much like the ArrowverseHowever, the cast on The CW don’t always get away when they’re written off. I will be shocked if this is the last time we see Kalyan Walker: Independence, but at the same time, he has no real incentive to return. It definitely felt like a “journey into the sunset” kind of farewell, which is a nice touch to this Western drama that so steadily shakes up the atmosphere that it just makes it so. Yellowstone 1883 rip off.
As mentioned, Walker: Independence will Back to CW On Thursday, January 5th at 9:00 p.m. ET as part of the 2023 TV schedule.
