Not only is Chris Hemsworth’s Thor the only character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to lead a single movie series that lasts longer than a trilogy, he’s also arguably gone through one of the biggest inventions in the superhero franchise. While Thor, outside of making a few jokes, was a pretty serious character in the first two ox Movies and the first two The Avengers From the movies, God of Thunder took on a more comedic slant when it was taken over by Taika Waititi Motorcycle rentalAnd that continued this year Thor: Love and Thunder. You look at Thor 1 and 2, they were exactly the same. Ragnarok and Love and Thunder are similar. I think it’s about reinventing it. I had a unique opportunity with Infinity War and Endgame to do very radical things with the character. I enjoy it, I like to keep people on their toes. Keeps me on my toes. It keeps me invested. I’ve said this before, but when it gets too familiar, I think there’s a risk of getting lazy because I know what I’m doing. Again, I don’t know if I’m even invited again, but if I am, I think it must be a completely different version in tone, all, just for my sanity… [laughs] Thor has lost his mind for the last time. He has to discover it now.
To be clear, it’s not just the fifth ox A movie that’s not in the books, we don’t even know for sure if the superhero wielding Mjolnir will be present in either of the next two The Avengers Movies. Whatever is cooked up for the character, Chris Hemsworth would prefer it if Thor underwent yet another tone reinvention to ensure he never got bored with the role and to keep things fresh for the audience. Hemsworth has appeared in nine Marvel movies as Thor, so he can’t be blamed for wanting to turn things around yet again in this run. It remains to be seen whether or not his wish will be granted.

These two don’t lack adventures to go forward together, but while nothing has been nailed down yet, it’s probably a good bet that Thor will be drawn into the events of The Avengers: Kang Dynasty wow Avengers: Secret Wars. Much like how Infinity War And the game over He was able to do “radical things” with Thor, the next two The Avengers The movies could be the only thing that offers a different tone to Hemsworth’s character, as well as being a great platform to provide the conclusion of his arc.
