The Wall Street Journal names Emma Tucker as its first female editor

Emma Tucker is the next editor-in-chief of The Wall Street Journal and Dow Jones Newswires – and is the first female editor-in-chief of News Corp’s trade publication.

Tucker, editor-in-chief of Britain’s The Sunday Times (also owned by News Corp), will take over from Matt Murray early next year. Tucker will take over as EIC for the magazine and Dow Jones Newswires on February 1, 2023.
