WWE Raw Star gets “fired” after losing the main event

Bobby Lashley was “fired” this week Monday Night Raw After losing to Seth Rollins in the main event of the show. “The Visionary” was able to counter Lashley’s spear late in the match via Pedigree and pinned “The All Mighty” to become the new number one contender for the United States Championship. Lashley was clearly angry at the referee’s three count and trapped him against the ropes. This prompted another referee to run out and try to break things up, only to be accidentally elbowed by Lashley.

Adam Pearce then ran in and pushed an enraged Lashley away, prompting a WWE official to announce that the former WWE Champion had been fired. This was all a callback to last week when Lashley accidentally fired another WWE official, Petey Williams, during a brawl. This prompted Pierce to warn Lashley that his hands would be “tied” if anything like that happened again. Whether this means Lashley is being written off TV for a few weeks or she’s moving to SmackDown remains to be seen.

It’s also possible that this is a form of storyline that Lashley previously gave to Vince McMahon. He discussed the idea back in October with Sam Roberts – “I told Vince, a year or two ago I think, ‘I want to do this character. ‘” ” ‘What is it?’ “If I get hit once, I want to go into this severe depression and put on 40, 50, 60, 70 pounds and just be fat.” It would be a completely different personality, and then have someone like MVP or someone beside me pull me back and make the crowd watch me transition. Again. He said, “There is no way to do that.” “I think I can do that.”

He later added, “I’m going to try (to push her into Triple H).” “I’ve talked to some people about it. I think it was Drew (McIntyre) and he said to me, ‘You’re probably going to get depressed.'” I think I’ll do it a little bit. Not because of the eating part, but because of the exercise. I work out and that’s it. My treatment, that’s it.”
