The Arizona Cardinals extended Keeler Murray’s contract before starting training camp. With one QB star off the board, who’s next?

Murray’s deal would make him the second highest-paid quarterback in all of football, at the moment, behind Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers. Number 12 probably deserves that title, while the same probably can’t be said for Murray, who still has to prove himself on the big stage.

However, it is impossible to deny Murray’s potential and the fact that he is one of the most exciting players in football. Throwing in DeAndre Hopkins should help matters, although he will be suspended for the first six games of the 2022 season for taking PEDs.

As far as predicting who the next players will fall for huge stretches, the lineup is relatively straightforward in NFL circles.

who is next? 4 quarterbacks will sign after Killer Murray

Lamar Jackson

Jackson was next in line for some time.

Although his contract negotiations were unique to say the least, since he doesn’t have an agent, Jackson will be paid in due course. His family and trusted friends take great care of his finances.

Some could rightly question Lamar’s longevity given his playing style, but he’s still the best player ever and is only 25 years old. He’s ready to take on the final year of the junior option, where he’ll bail out $23 million.

Jackson has carried crows occasionally from last year, which was a grace to the list of Baltimores he has put around him. Basic wounds from running backwards mean Lamar can only take the crows so far. In the end, he even fell with an injury.

But Jackson got to keep some. It’s next and the line, and don’t be surprised if it happens in the coming days.
