In the email, Nvidia mentions that the change will come in the form of an update that will arrive in mid-February. Once this update is applied, GameStream will not be accessible.
The email directs users to try Steam Link, an app that works similarly, and offers the same hardware support as GameStream, but many have complained that the results don’t match Nvidia’s offering. Nvidia is also directing those affected to try out its GeForce Now game streaming service. This is a completely different service that allows users to subscribe, access powerful computers, and stream games online.
