In a recent interview with PeopleJoanna talks about what it took to turn her life so far into a book. Strangely enough, the motive for writing it stems from a feeling of “exhaustion”. The 44-year-old Kotb needed to find some peace, so she took a trip back in time. “I was about to turn 44,” she said, “and I realized, in the last 10 years, a lot of it seemed like a blur.”
“It was fast, it was exciting, and there was a lot to be grateful for, but there was something inside of me that just felt so tired. I wanted to go back and relive the moments I missed along the way.”
